Tecoma capensis commonly known as cape honeysuckle is native to Southern parts of Africa.

It is a small shrub reaching a maximum height of up to 3 meters.

Although it is evergreen but in areas with cold temperatures the shrub might loose its leaves.

The flowers of tecoma capensis are orange to red in color and bloom throughout the year.
