Agave victoria reginae is a beautiful and very hardy agave with a very slow growth rate.
It is one of most desirable and beautiful agave species. It has short 15 to 20 cm leaves with just 3 cm broadness.
The plant blooms in summers but over a long period of time ranging from 20 to 30 years which also exhausts the plant thereby ending its life after a short while.
It was used by Spanish people in 17th century to make drinks like tequila.
